✔️ Testbed: QC transmission through a looped fiber link between Distrito Telefónica Lab and Alcobendas Lab
✔️ Attenuation: 19.6 dB in the O-Band and 14.8 dB in the C-Band
✔️ Coexistence with DWDM channels: The system successfully operated under real-world conditions
📊 Key Findings
A similar trend was observed when QKD coexisted with 6 and 16 classical channels (see Table 4), with the C-Band power remaining at ~6 dB in both cases. These results confirm the feasibility of QKD deployment in production telecom networks, paving the way for future hybrid quantum-classical security architectures.
