Highlights:

  • Evaluated the coexistence of CV-QKD and eight 200 Gb/s 16-QAM classical channels in a dense WDM setting.
  • Demonstrated that an SDN controller can dynamically adjust parameters—such as guard-band (100 GHz) and launch power (–10 dBm)—to ensure secure key generation and error-free classical transmission.
  • Identified practical thresholds and operational regimes for integrated quantum-classical communication in future optical networks.

This work showcases how programmable network control can facilitate secure, scalable, and dynamic deployment of quantum-safe technologies within existing infrastructure.
