Highlights:
- Implemented LPsec encryption using keys sourced from QKD networks (Scenario A) and QRNG devices (Scenario B).
- Keys are expanded via a secure PRNG to support real-time optical-layer encryption at line speed.
- Two setups:
- Scenario A: Both transponders within a QKD-secured perimeter.
- Scenario B: One point inside QKD; the other relies on QRNG-generated keys extended optically.
- Enables enhanced optical security using quantum-origin keys, paving the way for next-level secure optical links.
This result significantly contributes to Allegro’s mission to integrate quantum-enhanced security into high-speed, operational optical networks.
