Key Highlights:

  • Demonstrated seamless coexistence of a 200 Gb/s symmetric coherent PtMP system with a 50G-PON prototype over 20 km of standard fiber, meeting and exceeding N1 OPL requirements.
  • Achieved optical path loss (OPL) above 30.6 dB at 1544 nm in both directions, well within specifications.
  • Showcased the capability for dynamic reconfiguration of coherent subcarriers—supporting up to 400 Gb/s per direction—enabling high flexibility for deployment in PON architectures.

This work advances the vision of integrated, high-capacity, and future-ready optical access networks, aligning with the Allegro EU Project’s commitment to innovation.
