Highlights:
- Developed high-quality epitaxial BaTiO₃ thin films using pulsed laser deposition.
- Achieved a record-high Pockels coefficient (~1030 pm/V at 0.2 GHz, ~390 pm/V at 10 GHz), with stable performance up to 70 GHz.
- Demonstrated excellent dielectric properties (εₐ ranges between ~7600 @ DC to ~1100 @ 70 GHz), making the films highly suited for advanced high-speed photonic devices.
This breakthrough is a strong step toward advancing electro-optic materials for the next generation of optical communication and sensing technologies.
