We are proud to announce our latest contribution: “Performance Improvement of Directly Modulated VCSEL-based BVT via Optical SSB Filter and Time-Delay Neural Network”, presented at IEEE ICMLCN 2025.
In this work we demonstrate how a broadcast-and-select transmitter architecture based on directly modulated VCSELs can see performance gains through the integration of an optical single-side-band (SSB) filter and the deployment of a time-delay neural network model to compensate for transmission impairments and distortions.

We believe this research provides a valuable step forward for high-throughput, cost-effective photonic transmitters and neural-enhanced optical system design.
