“Model Predictive Control Scheduling for Extended Access Metro P2MP Optical Networks”, presented at ICTON 2025.
This paper introduces a scheduling framework based on model predictive control (MPC), targeting extended-access metro networks with point-to-multipoint (P2MP) optical architectures. By anticipating network demand and state, the proposed method dynamically schedules resources on the light-tree topology, enabling enhanced performance in terms of latency and utilization under varying traffic conditions.
