This work presents a novel neural network–based equalization technique that achieves effective mitigation of nonlinear impairments in digital subcarrier multiplexing systems while maintaining low computational complexity. The proposed equalizer demonstrates improved performance relative to conventional approaches, making it suitable for advanced optical communication platforms where both performance and efficiency are critical.
